Insourcing of Hot Isostatic Pressing can be Alternative to Outsourcing

Compared to traditional hot isostatic pressing equipment, the new generation of HIP systems from Quintus Technologies offers a significantly lower per-unit cost for densifying and strengthening cast parts. Rapid cooling technology can now cut cycle times by 50% or more for greater throughput and productivity. Heat treatment can now be integrated with the HIP cycle, saving an extra production step.
