Additive Manufacturing (AM) is a disruptive technology that enables design freedom that legacy manufacturing techniques struggle to provide affordably. Adoption of AM has been slowed also because of the disruptive nature. A lot of funding and attention has rightly been paid to printing or creating the part but less focus has been on the subsequent processing and final finishes.
