El proceso incluye tres ciclos con diferentes condiciones (es decir, temperatura, tiempo y presi\u00f3n). Estas condiciones se determinaron para conseguir mejorar la calidad y la microestructura de la pieza. Los resultados muestran que las tensiones residuales de tracci\u00f3n disminuyeron desde un pico de 249 MPa en la muestra as-built hasta tensiones de compresi\u00f3n que alcanzaron un pico de -90 MPa tras el proceso HT-HIP. El n\u00famero y el tama\u00f1o de los defectos internos pudieron reducirse considerablemente. Los defectos se transformaron en una forma esf\u00e9rica regular, lo que es bueno en t\u00e9rminos de resistencia a la fatiga.
