Seit der Markteinführung der ersten von Quintus entwickelten Tiefziehpresse Mitte der sechziger Jahre hat sich Quintus Technologies zum weltweit führenden Hersteller von Hochdruck-Tiefzieh-Flexformpressen für das Blechumformen entwickelt.

Heute ist die Technologie ein bevorzugtes Verfahren zur wirtschaftlichen Fertigung von Kleinserienteilen, insbesondere zur Verarbeitung von zähen Legierungen für Triebwerkskomponenten.

Quintus Technologies wird auch für seine Kompetenz in der Fertigungsprozessanalyse, die Optimierung des Umformprozesses, die innovative Werkzeugkonstruktion, das systematische Projektmanagement und den technischen Support vor Ort geschätzt.

Quintus bietet eine Reihe von Standard-Tiefziehpressenmodellen mit einer Formfläche/Durchmesser von 560 mm / 22 in bis 1100 mm / 43,3 in.
Druckbereich von 800 bar / 11 600 psi bis 1200 bar / 17 400 psi. Die Zykluszeit beträgt in der Regel 30 Sekunden bis zwei Minuten, abhängig von der Werkzeuggröße und dem erforderlichen Drucklevel.

Die Flexform-Technologie bietet Lösungen für Haushaltsgerätehersteller sowie für eine Vielzahl von Herstellern von kundenspezifischen Kleinserien.

Die Qualität der Teile entspricht den gleichen Standards wie bei der Originalpresse, aber die Rüstzeit wurde deutlich reduziert: 2,5 Minuten weniger pro Teil. Die Gesamtarbeitszeit wurde um 60 Prozent von 9 Minuten auf 3,6 Minuten reduziert.
